๐ Game Of Thrones Books Vs Show Reddit
Tyrion and Jorah have been whitewashed since the beginning of the show. Book-Tyrion is a fool when it comes to Shae (obviously book-Shae had different motivations), he's jealous (only hired extremely ugly guards to protect Shae), and he's willing to do dark things (singer stew). And Book-Jorah isn't the kind/compassionate guy he is in the show.
The most important difference between the book/show is that rather than one large fast battle it was a siege that dragged on for days (weeks?). In the books most of the brothers were thinned out through arrow fire from below. By the end of it all that remains of the brothers is a few war-weary veterns.
Well I just finished my second rewatch of the show after watching it for the first time in August (Iโve become obsessed). Now I just got the firstโฆ
With two game of thrones mods released in early access : Realm of thrones and Trials of the seven Kingdoms, for those who have played both, wich one is the best for you and are they good to play now or would you advise to wait a bit ? I played both, Realm of Thrones is less polished and has less content but plays much, much better.
I feel like the show series being named Game of Thrones compared to the whole series of books being called A Song of Ice and Fire has everyones priorities mixed up. Mostly, who gives a FF who's on the throne in the end. This series isn't about the throne, the first book introduces us to the game hence it's title.
There are large sections of this subreddit that have nothing to do with the show: Links on books that haven't been reached yet, entire threads under spoiler tags; This subreddit is r/GameofThrones, if you want to discuss plot events that won't happen in Game of Thrones for another 2 years, take that shit to r/asoiaf.
Lady was executed at the Inn at the Crossing which is the middle of the Riverlands. So roughly halfway to Kings Landing, two weeks away on foot. Catelyn took a ship so she was much fucking faster than Ned was. The show wasn't implying events were taking place one after the other like it is right now. -3.
Spoilers. Is there anybody else, who thinks the represantion of the Sandsnakes (Obara, Nymeria, Tyene & others) went total cringe and dumb? Those sisters were my fav characters in the books, I really liked they have such a different personalities, but connected by Oberyn. I know, there were already a lot of storylines, but we got in the series
JBMF.
